St. Peter’s Martley is one of about 50 Norman churches situated in the picturesque valley of the River Teme. It remains an active church with significant historical value, originally being the focal point of the village.

Medical

Martley has a limited-hours doctor’s surgery, with primary centres located in Great Witley and Knightwick. The main hospital for the area, offering full accident and emergency services, is Worcester Royal.

Memorial Hall

Martley Memorial Hall can be hired for various functions. It includes a hall with a stage and a bar, available at reasonable rates.

Library

The Martley library, staffed by volunteers, is located at the Memorial Hall. It is open on Monday (2pm–7pm), Wednesday (4pm–6pm), Thursday (10am–1pm), Friday (2pm–4pm), and Saturday (10am–noon). Additionally, a mobile library visits Martley – check the County Council website for the schedule.

Martley is well-equipped with retail outlets, including a petrol and repair garage, a post office offering various services, and a Mace store with a DIY section.

Sport Martley

Sport Martley features a climbing wall with over 100 routes, suitable for all skill levels. Recently updated, it offers new challenging holds.
