There are two main schools in Martley – Martley C of E Primary School, and The Chantry.

Martley C of E Primary School

Martley CE Primary School is a Church of England primary school located in the village of Martley, approximately 8 miles northwest of Worcester, England. The school caters to children aged 2 to 11, offering both primary education and pre-school services.

The Chantry

The Chantry School is a mixed-gender secondary academy located in Martley, Worcestershire, approximately 7.5 miles west of Worcester. Serving rural West Worcestershire, the school caters to students aged 11 to 16.

Academic Performance

In its most recent Ofsted inspection on March 13, 2023, The Chantry School received a ‘Good’ rating across all evaluated areas, including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

Facilities and Extracurricular Activities

The school offers a range of facilities to support both academic and extracurricular activities. These include a “Design Pod,” music practice spaces, and recently renovated science and art areas. Students also have access to “Sport Martley” during the school day, which features outdoor pitches and other sports amenities.

Affiliations

As of September 1, 2023, The Chantry School became part of the Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust, joining other educational institutions in collaborative efforts to enhance educational opportunities for students.
