The Parish Council are setting up Martley Planning Team. This will include members of the public and councillors who are interested in increasing their knowledge of planning.
We need to do this because of the increasing number of planning applications, many of which are complex and require expertise to understand and analyse. Members of the Team will be able to attend online and face-to-face training sessions which will be funded by the Parish Council, and will prepare joint responses to planning applications as well as advise the Parish Council on updating the Neighbourhood Plan.
